How to Allow Gmail Access from Web Security for clients having Seqrite EPS installed.

Overview: This article will help to allow Gmail access on the endpoints where all other Web Categories are blocked from Seqrite EPS Console Policy.

Applicable Version: All Seqrite Endpoint Security versions.

Scenario: On the Seqrite EPS Console, with Web Security policy, all Web Categories are blocked. But the Administrator wants to allow access Gmail Account.

Allowing Gmail access

To allow Gmail access for Administrator, follow these steps:

1. Log on to the Seqrite Endpoint Security Web console.
2. Go to Clients > Mange Policy > Select the respective Web Security policy to apply the changes.
3. From Web Security section > Under Web Categories, click the ‘Exclusion’ button (Figure 1)

4. The Exclude URL dialog will appear.
In that Enter URL text box, type below-mentioned URL's and then click Add.
• accounts.google.co.in
• accounts.google.com
• apis.google.com
• client-channel.google.com
• contacts.google.com
• clients*.google.com
• gmail.com
• mail.google.com
• googleusercontent.com
• google.com
• ssl.gstatic.com
• gstatic.com
• googleapis.com
• hangouts.google.com

5. Also keep the Exclude Subdomains check marked.
To save your settings, click OK. (Figure 2)

7. After adding all URL's, click Save Policy to apply the settings. (Figure 3)
