How to decrypt data on removable media

Overview: Seqrite Volume Decryption allows the user to permanently decrypt a Removable media volume which is initially encrypted. Decryption is started and after completion successful message is displayed.

Applicable Versions:

Windows XP , 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 32 and 64 bit (Max version support build 2009)

Windows server 2008, 2012 and 2016, 2019 64 bit (Max version support build 1903)

Decrypt removable drive from the system, Where Seqrite Volume Encryption client is installed.
To decrypt the volume, follow these steps:

1. Open Seqrite Volume Encryption.

2. On dashboard, select the Removable drive volume.

3. On the menu, click Volume > Decrypt Volume. The following dialog box appears:

4. Click Yes.

5. Enter the password and click OK.

6. After the decryption process is completed, a success message is displayed.

Decrypt removable drive on the system, where Seqrite volume encryption is not installed using traveller kit tool.
1. You need to download the Traveller kit file from www.seqrite.com , and perform the following steps:
2. Download and extract the Traveller Kit file on your computer/laptop, which doesn’t have SVE installed on it.
3. Connect the encrypted USB drive.
4. Run the bcfmgr.exe
5. Right click the USB drive.
6. Click the Mount option.
7. Enter the password.
8. USB drive will be mounted and become accessible.
