How To Allow And Block Web Category EPS 8.X V

Description: This article describes the standard process to allow access to specific websites in EPS web filtering.

Applicable Versions: Version EPS 8.X

The required websites/categories have to be restricted from the settings. Perform the following steps to allow or block the specific websites.

Steps/Procedures:

1. Log on to the Seqrite Endpoint Security Web Console portal.

2. Click Policies. Go to the policy which you want to configure. Click the Edit icon. Here edit the Default_EPS policy.

3. Click Web Security, under Web Categories. Set the toggle button to On. Select the Restrict access to particular categories of website checkbox.

4. From the Status column, select Deny radio button to restrict access to the websites.

5. You can exclude a few websites to allow access to them.

6. Enter the URL in the Exclude URLs dialog box under Exclusions. To exclude the sub-domains, select the Exclude Subdomains check box.
