How to change product key of UTM

Overview:  If you want to change the product key of UTM without resetting it then you can use this feature. It will register your UTM with new product key. You have to enter registration details again.

Please ensure you have a valid product key and also take configuration backup of UTM before proceeding.

Applicable Versions: UTM 2.5 and Above

Steps to change product key of UTM:

1) Login to UTM and click “System” on left menu

2) Click “others” on left menu then click “change product key” button on right side

3) License agreement page appears .Read the License Agreement carefully and select the “I Agree” check box to accept the terms and conditions.

Click the next checkbox to agree to provide your consent for data use and then click “Next”

4) Auto configuration screen appears. Click “deny” button on auto configuration screen. You can also click “allow” if WAN interface is not already configured and you want UTM to auto-detect WAN settings.

5) Interface page appears. Check if WAN interface is up. (You can make any changes if required) then Click “Next”

6) On DNS page click “next” with existing settings. (You can add ISP DNS if required)

7) Change password if required else proceed with existing password and click “ next”

8) Click “next” on date and time page

9) Registration page appears. Enter new product key and click “next”.

10) Fill all the details on “Registration details” page then click “next”

11) On next page verify and confirm the registration details and click “next”

12) Click “Finish”

13) Login to UTM again. You can verify the product key on UTM dashboard under “device information”
