How to restore CFR backup folder in Server Edition 18.00 Anti-Virus using Total Ransomware Protection?

Overview:
• Quick Heal Backup and Restore feature helps restoring the important data such as documents, spreadsheets etc. In case of Ransomware or any other Malware encrypts, corrupts or delete important files.
• The backup is stored on a drive where maximum amount of free disk space is available. The backup folder is created with “CFRBACKUP-XXXX” name and the folder is also protected by special Anti-Virus Protection. i.e Self       Protection.
• The backup is taken for all local drives based on the file extensions specified in the configuration file.
• Whenever required, the data files can be restored using the feature of Server edition AV 18.00. i.e Total Ransomware Protection.

Applicable Versions: Server edition AV 18.00

Procedure:
1. Open Anti-Virus dashboard. Select “Total Ransomware Protection” option.

2. Select “Restore Backup” option and click on settings icon.

3. Select a source as “From System” OR “From other Sources”, Click on “Select Location”.

4. Select CFR backup folder from local/external drive which need to be restored and Click on OK.

5. Click on “Next” option.

6. Click on “Select location” where you want to restore backup.

7. Create a folder in any drive (Local or External drive), name it. Click on “Select location” and select the folder created from drive. Click on “OK”.

8. Click on “Next”.

9. Data restoration process will start.

10. Once, data restoration get completed, message will be displayed as:
      Click on “Close”.

Hence, in this way we can restore CFR backup from “Total Ransomware Protection”.
