Compatibility of Seqrite Endpoint with macOS Sequoia 15

Overview
This article outlines the compatibility of Seqrite Endpoint Security (EPS/EPP Cloud) with macOS Sequoia 15, released on September 16, 2024. Testing confirms that the implementation and deployment of the Seqrite Mac Client on macOS Sequoia 15 remain consistent with earlier macOS versions.

Fresh Installation of Seqrite Mac Client on macOS Sequoia 15

In macOS versions prior to Sequoia 15, Endpoint Security Extensions and Network Extensions required individual user approval through the 'System Settings > Privacy & Security' tab during installation. With macOS Sequoia 15, the process for allowing these extensions has changed. Users should follow these steps to grant the necessary permissions:

1. Endpoint Security Extensions (opsext, dlpext, famext, ggcext):

o Open System Settings.

o Navigate to General > Login Items & Extensions.

o Click the info icon next to Endpoint Security Extensions.

o Enable opsext, dlpext, famext, and ggcext one by one.

o Click Done.

2. Network Extensions (webflt and mailflt):

o Open System Settings.

o Navigate to General > Login Items & Extensions.

o Click the info icon next to Network Extensions.

o Enable webflt and mailflt one by one.

o Click Done.
