27-10-2020 12:34:15

Overview: This article describes how to allow the user to permanently decrypt a volume which is initially encrypted in encryption policy. For these encrypted volumes, the software transparently decrypts the data from the volume.

Applicable Versions:

Windows XP ,7, 8 and 10 32 and 64 bit (Max version support build 2009)

Windows server 2008, 2012 and 2016, 2019 64 bit (Max version support build 1903)

Please follow the below steps:

1. Log on to SEM console.

2. On the company page, select the Endpoint name which you want to decrypt.

3. Change the endpoint policy from encrypt to Decrypt.

6. After the decryption process is completed, a success message is displayed.
When the volume is decrypted, the color of the volume header on SVE changes to blue.
