How to add extensions manually in AV Server 18.00 for data backup in CFR folder?
Overview: This document describes the process to add extensions manually in Version 18.00 server edition.
Feature description:
This feature will backup the important data files of local drive safely into CFR backup folder, which is created after installation of AV.
The main advantage of this feature is, we can restore the backup files in case of RANSOMEWARE attack on systems.
Steps to add additional extensions in default list:
1. Open AV dashboard and click on Total Ransomware Protection.
2. Go to Data back up --> open settings
3. Select “Advanced(Default + Custom)” and click on “configure”
4. Select “Add extension”
5. Add extension manually e.g. DWG --> Add --> OK
6. Enable the “User specified File Type” Category.
NOTE: If extensions are already available in “Custom File Type Category”, then we need to enable that specific option.
7. Save the final setting by clicking on OK --> Save Changes
