Overview : This article provides a comprehensive guide for installing the Seqrite XDR Agent.
Deployment Methods

To deploy the XDR client across Windows, MAC, and Linux operating systems, we have two primary methods:

1. Remote Installer

2. Using Installer Link


Remote installer

Follow these steps to install Seqrite XDR Agent using Remote Installer:

1. Access the login portal.

2. Navigate to the dashboard and locate the Deployment option on the left-hand side. Locate the

Remote Installer tab. Under the Remote Installer tab, select the Seqrite XDR for remote installation.

3. Select the operating system to get the installer. The following two installer options are available.

a. Windows: It provides the installer only for Windows.

b. All: It provides the installer for Windows, Linux, and MAC.

4. Download the Remote Installer tool by clicking Download.

5. Execute the Remote Installer tool named "RemoteInstall.exe".

6. You can initiate remote installation in one of the following ways:

- Add endpoints by selecting from the list - Click Add to add endpoints.

- Add by IP Address – Enter the IP Address or IP Address Range.

7. Click Next.

8. In the Add User dialog, type the User Name and Password with Administrator privilege for the system where deployment will happen. Click Finish to add all selected endpoints to the installation list.

9. Select the added IP address(es) and click Install to initiate installation.

10. You can view the deployment status in the Result column.

11. The device(s) on which the agent has been installed will appear on the Device Page within Central Security Management.

Using Installer link

Follow these steps to install Seqrite XDR Agent using Installer links:

1. Access the Central Security Management platform by logging in.

2. Navigate to the dashboard and locate the End Users option on the left-hand side. Select users from the list of users to whom you wish to send the installer link.

3. Click the Select option dropdown and choose Send installer link.

4. The Select Product dropdown will appear. Select the XDR option. Then, click Submit followed by Confirm.

5. The link for the installer will be sent to the email address(es) of the selected user(s).

6. Open the email and click the Download.

7. The link will open in your web browser.

8. You can select the operating system and its version for downloading the setup folder.

9. After downloading the setup folder, paste it onto the corresponding operating system, extract it, and proceed with the installation.
