Functional information

To ensure Seqrite EPS 7.6 functions smoothly on macOS 10.15 functions, you must click on ALLOW ‘Quick Heal Total Security’ from the ‘System Preferences >> Security & Privacy’ followed by a system restart. If you do not follow this procedure, all protection levels of Seqrite EPS 7.6 will be in the OFF mode exposing your system to threats.

What to do if Quick Heal module remains OFF on a fresh macOS 10.15 or if I haven’t allowed Seqrite EPS as stated in the procedure above?

1.When you install Seqrite EPS 7.6 on a fresh macOS 10.15, you will receive the following prompt.

2.Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

3.In the Security & Privacy dialog, click the Allow button next to “System software from developer Quick Heal Technologies was blocked from loading” as shown in the following screen.

4.Restart the system.

Key points to remember

  • If you do not click Allow button, the product will show all modules as OFF (in red) as the drivers will not get loaded (in this case, the product will not function).
  • The Allow button in ‘System Preferences’ disappears after 30 minutes of product installation.
  • The Allow button in ‘System Preferences’ can be seen again only after the next reboot (again for 30 minutes).
  • If your Mac OS is lower than 10.15.x with Seqrite EPS Cloud pre-installed on it and the OS is upgraded to 10.15.x, then Seqrite EPS Cloud will function normally. Even if you reinstall Seqrite EPS Cloud on the platform, you need not follow the steps mentioned earlier.
  • If you format your Mac & freshly install the macOS High Sierra 10.13, you must follow the steps mentioned earlier in this article.
