Overview: This article describes the standard process of adding mobile devices under an exclusion in device control.
Applicable Version: ALL
Configuration steps:
• First Connect the mobile device to the Console system the verify device if the device is connected to the system or not from the file explore, refer below screenshot for details.
• Login to the Console web page then navigate to the Admin setting > Server > Manage device.
• Then Click on the “Add device > Network Devices” option on the right side of the console webpage.
• Then Click on "Endpoint" and From the List select your system Host-name where the Mobile device is connected then expand the option and select the device which you want to add in exclusion and click on “Ok”.
• After adding the device it will get listed under Manage device Option Under Admin setting > Server
• If You want to add a device under an exclusion in the policy and block other devices then Go to Policy > Advance device control > Exclusion
• Then click on Add Then added devices will get listed then select your device and click on Add to exception and select Yes then click on Ok
• Your device will get listed under exception then you can block other devices and allow this device only After enabling Advance device control from the policy
