Overview:
This article will help you how to regenerate a Certificate when SSL VPN Remote Access VPN Stops working due to Certificate Expiry.
Applicable version: 2.0 and above
1. Below you can find examples of logs which clearly shows that certificate has been expired due to which SSL remote VPN has stopped working.
OR
2. You also need to verify the validity of the certificate of the remote VPN client as mentioned below.
Navigation: C:\Program Files\Seqrite SSL VPN Client\config
Below is the CA Certificate >> QH
Below is the user certificate >> amol_waranale
If any one of the certificates is showing expired either the SSL VPN server certificate authority or Users certificate then you need to follow the process mentioned below to create Certificate Authority (CA).
3. You can create a certificate using the ADD(+) button.
Navigation: Home / System / Certificate
>> Enter Nickname and Common name
>> Select the Country and enter State
4. Select the created Certificate Authority for SSL VPN and set it as default using the Set Default button
Navigation: Home / VPN / SSL / Server Settings
5. Check the end-user VPN certificate validity if it has been updated or not?
Navigation: Home / System / Certificate
6. Click on Download option and select the 2nd package which is the ZIP file.
7. Extract the VPN client package that you have downloaded and replace the file at the below location
Navigation: C:\Program Files\Seqrite SSL VPN Client\config
8. Exit the SSL VPN. Connect it back again and verify.
